IP Cedar Box Machine Operator/Assistant

Position Title: Machine Operator/Assistant

Starting Pay Rate: $24.85/hr

Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time (6pm-6am)

This is a 2-2-3 schedule:

  • Week 1: M/T/F/S
  • Week 2: Su/W/Th

Physical Location: Cedar Rapids Container, 920 Shaver Rd NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402

The Job You Will Perform:
  • Counting and stacking finished product
  • Reading factory orders
  • Accurately reading gauges and other test equipment
  • Utilizing basic shop math, inspecting
  • Completing quality and administrative documents and following directions
  • Cleaning functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming, sweeping, and scrap disposal
