Hours:

2nd Shift: Monday through Saturday, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and related activities
• Coordinate production, monitoring multiple lines as needed
• Assist with mold, insert, and line changes
• Perform basic processing of injection and/or blow molding machines to enhance efficiency and reduce scrap
• Adjust operations, machines, and equipment to resolve quality and production issues
• Perform tasks of utility positions during slow periods or as needed
• Monitor resin, material handling, and systems for proper processing conditions
• Conduct frequent quality checks on products against established standards
• Perform routine maintenance and assist with preventative and major repairs
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Complete all required documentation promptly and accurately
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Verify material usage according to standards
• Operate equipment efficiently to minimize waste and maximize regrind, purge, and scrap within specifications
• Identify regrind and chunks properly
• Relay processing information to incoming shift personnel
• Assist other operators as needed

Who Should Apply?

• Experienced extrusion molding machine operators
• Experienced blow mold operators (including PET or HDPE resin, Bekum, Fisher, Uniloy, Aoki, Sidel, 1Blo, and Rocheleau machinery) is a plus but not required
• Machine operator trainees with mechanical experience (HVAC, auto mechanic, home repair, handyman, construction trades) are encouraged to apply
