Aerotek is hiring a Molding Machine Operator for a full-time contract role in New Hudson, MI. The operator will run polyurethane casting and mold equipment, ensure molds are prepared and aligned, and manage the production cycle from setup to completion.

The role requires reading work orders, maintaining safety and housekeeping, and meeting daily production goals in a hot environment. Onsite work with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Hiring a Molding Machine Operator in New Hudson, MI - start ASAP

Shift: 6AM-4:30PM (Monday-Thusday)

Pay Rate: $20/hr Responsibilities

• Operate polyurethane casting and mold machines to manufacture parts according to detailed specifications and work orders.

• Prepare molds for urethane pouring, including setup, alignment, and verification of readiness for production runs.

• Break down molds after curing, safely remove finished parts, and prepare equipment and molds for the next production cycle.

• Measure, mix, and pour polyurethane materials into molds while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

• Operate curing ovens and related production equipment throughout the manufacturing process.

• Inspect finished products for quality, identifying defects, inconsistencies, or nonconformities and reporting issues promptly.

• Read and follow work orders, production instructions, and standard operating procedures accurately.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work area in accordance with housekeeping and safety guidelines.

• Follow all safety procedures consistently and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Safely lift, carry, and move materials and finished products weighing up to 40 lbs.

• Work effectively in a hot manufacturing environment while meeting daily and weekly production goals.

• Support general production tasks as needed, including packaging, coating, die cutting, and related machine operations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
