Job description

Job Title: Machine Operator at Mativ

The Middletown, DE location is seeking a Machine Operator to join its Filtration team.

Responsibilities:

• Safely conduct tasks following proper work procedures.
• Perform and document process line conditions.
• Monitor and stock operating supplies as needed.
• Move rolls from Machine, utilizing pallet jack to staging locations.
• Collect scrap and waste from process to bale.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and machinery.

Qualifications:

• 1 Year Machine Operating experience in manufacturing.
• Mechanical Aptitude.
• Basic Math, Reading, and Writing skills.
• Basic Computer skills.
• Ability to maintain punctual attendance.
• Ability to use measurement tools to ensure product quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to read and understand prints.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments.

Position Demands:

• Work in a manufacturing environment with variable temperatures and potential hazards.
• Wear PPE including safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and respirator as required.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling heavy objects, working 12-hour shifts, and performing repetitive tasks.
