This role is for AWW2/5th Shift Sat. - Mon. 1800-0600.

Summary:

As a Machine Operator 1, you will operate various production machines, including CMM, polish wheel, airflow, waterflow, shot peen, furnace, grinding machines, EDM, etc. You will perform routine operations and ensure quality standards.

What You Will Do:
  • Perform routine operations, interpret process sheets, deburr, clean parts, gauge parts, make minor offset changes with oversight, use measuring devices, and assess product acceptance based on blueprints.
  • Clock labor in Solumina, perform preventative maintenance, document results, and keep records on check sheets and run charts.
  • Complete Daily Walk Around (DWA) and use communication logs.
  • Maintain a clean work area and equipment, and ensure quality standards.
  • Move around the machine line frequently (about 90%), transport products/equipment weighing up to 10 pounds, and operate all equipment in the work loop to meet production rates.
  • Support department objectives by performing additional tasks within your skill level.
  • Follow ACE guidelines, perform CORE duties, and adhere to all EH & S guidelines, including PPE requirements.
Qualifications:
  • HS diploma or equivalent (e.g., G.E.D.)
  • U.S. citizenship required for access to information under this program/contract
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous manufacturing or machine operator experience
