Join our team as a Machine Operator/Assembler. You'll be responsible for assembling and testing parts, operating injection molding presses, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, manufacturing experience, and strong communication skills. Familiarity with 5S and Lean manufacturing systems is a plus. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assemble parts according to instructions.
• Test assembled parts for accuracy and functionality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintain good attendance and a positive attitude.
• Perform visual inspection, trimming, and packing of injection molded plastic products.
• Identify molding defects such as shorts, splay, burns, flash, color swirls, and contamination.
• Complete and maintain accurate production, scrap, and downtime paperwork.
• Train to run multiple presses and assemble products at standard cycle times.
• Follow verbal and written instructions within a manufacturing environment.
• Adhere to all company and facility policies and safety standards at all times.
• Ability and willingness to perform other tasks, in other departments, as assigned by the Plant Manager or delegate.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in injection molding or assembly.
• Ability to be cross-trained and master multiple positions and responsibilities.
• Function effectively as part of a team and communicate professionally both in writing and verbally.
• Familiarity and experience with 5S and Lean manufacturing systems is strongly preferred.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
