Job summary

FXI is a leading producer of foam innovation across Bedding, Furniture, Industrial, and more. The role is a General Labor position on the assembly floor, requiring ability to lift 50 lbs, stand 8 hours, and read measuring devices. You will follow 5S and safety policies and perform multiple basic fabrication tasks to keep production flowing.

Minimum 1 year factory experience and fluency in English are required. High school diploma or equivalent is expected as education.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year factory-related experience.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to lift and carry 50lbs.
• Able to stand and walk for 8 hours.
• Able to read measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Conducts set-up and operates a variety of fabricating devices (including but not limited to Roll Packs, Dolphin, etc.).
• Performs functions of General Labor 1 & 2.
• Operates machine operations to support the assembly floor.
• Verifies conformance to specifications using a tape measure.
• Reads work orders to specifications.
• Stages product in designated areas.
• Identifies and records problems related to product, process, or quality system.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.
• Follows 5s and Safety policies and procedures.
