Job summary

FXI is seeking production operators at its Corry, PA facilities to support foam manufacturing across shifts. You will read SOPs, follow safety guidelines, operate machinery, monitor quality, and maintain accurate logs while meeting production goals.

Experience is preferred, but training is provided. You will join a team focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement, with opportunities on 1st and 2nd shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Keep work area neat and clean.
• Active part of FXI Safety Program.
• Follow Safe Work Practices and wear safety gear.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow all SOPs and work orders.
• Review daily production and assign work using manufacturing software.
• Maintain serial number logs and track inventory.
• Coordinate with engineering and quality on BOM audits.
• Communicate with Engineering on discrepancies.
• Attend departmental meetings as needed.
• Conduct monthly cycle counts and inventory checks.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Experience Preferred, We will train the right person. Several Opportunities 1st and 2nd shift positions available.
• Follow all applicable safety/housekeeping guidelines.
• Responsible for departmental safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Read and follow all Standard Operating Procedures and work orders.
• Reviews daily production utilizing computer manufacturing software and determines associate work assignments.
• Maintain accurate serial number log as required.
• Utilize computer manufacturing software to report daily production, retrieve Bill of Material (BOM) and check inventory levels for production.
• Responsible for coordinating with engineering and quality on pilot runs, BOM audits, pilot completion paperwork and training records.
• Communicate with Engineering on discrepancies or questions.
• Participates in routine departmental meetings as needed.
• Take monthly cycle counts and inventory as needed.
• All other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Physical Demands

Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

General Quality Requirements

• Read, Understand and be trained on all related standard operating procedure and work instructions to perform tasks successfully and meet customer and QMS requirements.
• For specific quality expectations for this position, reference related SOP's and work instructions
• Be qualified to use appropriate measurement device(s) such as ruler, caliper, tape measure, to verify product acceptance and proper machine operation.
• Constant visual inspection of materials and product to ensure acceptance
• Set aside any material or product that does not meet specification for disposition by appropriate personnel (supervisor, quality representative)

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent and/or previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Keep work area neat and clean.
• Active part of FXI Safety Program.
• Follow appropriate Safe Work Practices, safety glasses or goggles, hazard communications, forklift certification, gloves.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Some experience operating machinery is preferred.
