Base Pay: $22.50 per hour, plus $1.00 per hour shift differential for night shift

Day Shift: 7 am-7 pm on a 2-2-3 Schedule

Night Shift: 7 pm-7 am on a 2-2-3 Schedule

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Extrusion Associate 3 (EA3) is a training position through which Associates may advance to the Extrusion Associate 4 (EA4) position. This role involves learning to operate extrusion lines, produce vinyl siding products and accessories, and ensure quality standards are maintained through inspection and testing.

Associates must be in the EA3 position for at least 6 months and pass proficiency tests to qualify for promotion to EA4. Those unable to pass within 12 months will be demoted.

1. Verify operational status of equipment according to start-up checklists.
2. Maintain equipment settings to produce outputs that meet product specifications.
3. Conduct quality assurance tests on finished products.
4. Notify supervisors of deviations for correction.
5. Communicate with maintenance and shift supervisors about malfunctions.
6. Assist with troubleshooting and equipment adjustments.
7. Handle line changeovers and conduct product checks for consistency.
8. Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the work area.
9. Supervise and coordinate with lower-level associates for quality and packing.
10. Relieve other associates for breaks and assist in training new personnel.
11. Participate in safety programs and attend meetings as required.
12. Complete all required paperwork accurately.
13. Follow safety and health regulations consistently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Six months of related or production experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand machine mechanics.
• Good mechanical aptitude, math skills, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to operate measuring tools and perform manual tasks, including lifting up to 86 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and standing for long periods.
