Manpower, Inc. seeks a Machine Operator (Food) to support high-volume production in a food manufacturing setting in Manteno, IL. You will operate VEMAG extruders, crimpers, baggers, presses, and ovens to sustain output and product quality.

You will troubleshoot Texwrap, ADCO, Combi, and label systems, perform QC checks, and maintain traceable records. Strong teamwork, math skills, and GMP training are required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical equipment preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical devices and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a team.
• Completion of GMPs and food safety training.
• Good math skills and ability to read and follow detailed instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Operate specialized food manufacturing equipment to support high-volume production.
• Manage and troubleshoot packaging machinery to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Conduct quality control checks and verify seals, codes, and labels for safety compliance.
• Maintain production records including output, settings and batch information.

Our client, a leading food manufacturing organization, is seeking Machine Operators (Food) to join their team. As a Machine Operator (Food), you will be part of the production department supporting high-volume food processing and packaging operations.

Job Title: Machine Operator (Food)

Pay Range: $18 - $22.37

What's the Job?

• Operate specialized food manufacturing equipment including VEMAG extruders, crimper machines, JDD baggers, inline pressing systems, and industrial ovens to support high-volume production.
• Manage and troubleshoot packaging machinery such as Texwrap Systems, ADCO automated packaging machines, Combi case erectors, and coding & label applicator machines to ensure efficiency and product quality.
• Conduct quality control checks, verify seal integrity, and ensure product codes and labels are accurate and compliant with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate production records, including output volumes, machine settings, and batch information for traceability and compliance.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimise line performance, address issues promptly, and uphold safety and food safety standards.
