Responsibilities

• Operate CNC, thermoforming, and rotational molding machines.
• Load plastic sheets and materials into production equipment.

• Monitor machines and finished parts for quality.
• Read work orders and follow production schedules.
• Read a tape measure and perform basic shop math.
• Troubleshoot basic production and machine issues.
• Assist with basic preventive maintenance.
• Lift and handle materials up to approximately 40 lbs.
• Assist other production or shipping departments as needed.

Job Title: Machine Operator (1st Shift) ($20.00/hr.)

Job Description

We are hiring a General Production Worker / Machine Operator for a custom plastics manufacturing facility. This position involves operating and setting up production equipment, completing machine changeovers, inspecting parts, and assisting with other production duties as needed. We are looking for individuals to interview and start as soon as the next day. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift MondayFriday (7:00AM-3:30PM)

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC, thermoforming, and rotational molding machines
• Load plastic sheets and materials into production equipment
• Set up machines according to work orders and production requirements
• Perform machine changeovers, tear downs, and tooling setups
• Monitor machines and finished parts for quality
• Use hand tools during machine setups and changeovers
• Read work orders and follow production schedules
• Use a tape measure and basic shop math
• Troubleshoot basic production and machine issues
• Assist with basic preventive maintenance
• Lift and handle materials up to approximately 40 lbs.
• Assist other production or shipping departments as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Machine operating experience preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Basic mechanical aptitude and shop math skills
• Comfortable using basic hand tools
• Ability to follow work instructions and quality procedures
• Willingness to learn different types of production equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
