Masemp, a busy and growing client in Jaffrey, NH, is looking to add a Machine Operator to its manufacturing team. This temp-to-hire role starts on 1st shift Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm, then shifts to 2nd shift Monday-Friday 11am-9pm after the new year, with a 10% shift differential on 2nd shift.

You'll read drawings, operate CNC and manual machines, change cutting tools, perform milling, drilling, and boring, inspect finished parts, adhere to safety policies, and maintain a clean work area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 1 year technical certificate preferred.
• 6+ months previous machine operator experience required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Great math skills, including algebra and geometry.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings.
• Operate various CNC and manual machinery.
• Select and install/change out cutting tools.
• Perform milling, drilling, and boring operations.
• Work to close tolerances.
• Observe operation and watch for malfunctions or defects and notify supervisor of any issues.
• Inspect/measure finished piece to meet specifications.
• Maintain neat and clean work area and machines.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Our busy and growing client in Jaffrey, NH is looking to add a Machine Operator to join their team. This is a temp to hire position that will have you training on 1st shift Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm, then moving to 2nd shift after the first of the year working Monday-Friday 11am-9pm. The pay rate is $20-$22+/hr depending on experience. Once on 2nd shift there is a 10% shift differential. Once hired on you will be eligible for company benefits including health insurance, flex spending plan, 401k with company match, paid holidays, sick time, and vacation.
