Job summary

Masemp in Greenfield, MA is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team on both day and night shifts. This temp-to-hire, full-time role offers rotating schedules 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am and pay between $20-$23 per hour.

As a Machine Operator you will set up/maintain/operate grinding and polishing machines, inspect tools, and handle materials. Training for quality inspection and interpreting shop prints is provided; reliable attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must read and interpret shop prints.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety adherence.

Responsibilities

• Set up/maintain/operate grinding and polishing machines.
• Inspection and measurement of tools using calipers and measuring tapes.
• Quality inspection and material handling.
• Other duties as assigned.

Our client with a long history of quality manufacturing in the Greenfield, MA area is looking for Machine Operators to join their team on both days and nights!

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous machine operator experience and/or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to stay alert and focus for a long period of time
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
• Written and verbal English communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and good work ethic
• Ability to follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Must be reliable with excellent attendance
• Good mechanical ability
• Ability to read and interpret shop prints
• Ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
