Shift:
1st Shift (Monday-Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm), 2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday, 3:30 pm to 2:00 am), and Weekend Shifts (Friday-Sunday, 6 am to 6 pm)
Job Description
Pay: $19-22/hr
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble various metal products using tools, machines, and manual skills.
- Build samples and test products.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Operate fabrication machines such as trimmers, press brakes, hand bending tools, and resistance welders.
- Read and interpret measurements, blueprints, sketches, and assembly instructions.
- Measure work piece dimensions to verify accuracy, specifications, and adjust as needed.
- Monitor machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions.
- Analyze information and evaluate results to determine the best solutions and resolve problems.
- Report errors in the production line.
- Complete quality control forms following company procedures.
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, or rust from work pieces.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Competencies:
- Use measuring equipment (e.g., tape measure, micrometer) to verify parts meet specifications.
- Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including the ability to learn new equipment and techniques.
