Job summary

Trillium Staffing is seeking an experienced Material Handler for Howell, MI. This role offers 1st shift (7a-3p) and 2nd shift (3p-11p) with a pay rate of $19/hr plus shift premiums.

You will move products throughout production and assist machine operators during downtime. Requirements include 2–3 years of material handling experience with forklift use, 2–3 years in manufacturing (1–2 years with mold machines preferred), and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of material handling experience including forklift operation.
• 2–3 years in manufacturing with 1–2 years of experience working with mold machines preferred.
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have reliable transportation and good attendance; pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Move products throughout production as a Material Handler.
• Operate or assist machine operators during downtime on blow mold machines.
• Make adjustments or minor repairs to ensure production containers are safe, efficient, and high quality.

Experienced Material Handler needed in Howell, MI.

1st (7a-3p) and 2nd (3p-11p) shift opportunities. Pay rate is $19/hr. with shift premiums. Material Handlers are responsible for moving products throughout various phases of production. Must be able to conduct machine operators are responsibilities during downtime by operating a given number of blow mold machines (including in-line equipment) and making necessary adjustments or minor repairs to ensure production containers are made safe, efficient, and of high-quality.

• Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of solid material handling experience that includes Hilo/forklift experience.
• Must have a minimum of 2-3 solid years of manufacturing with a minimum of 1-2 years' experience working with mold machines is preferred.
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have previous forklift experience.
• Must have high school diploma/GED and pass all pre-employment screening.
• Must have reliable transportation as this company is not on a public transportation route and good attendance.
