Job summary

Trillium Staffing is seeking Production Operator candidates for the molding department in Brighton, Michigan. Openings on all three shifts with potential temporary to hire opportunities.

Positions include 1st shift ($17.50/hr, Mon-Fri, 6:30am-3:00pm; overtime on Saturdays), 2nd shift ($18.50/hr, Mon-Fri, 2:30pm-11:00pm; overtime on Saturdays), and 3rd shift ($18.50/hr, Sun-Thu, 10:30pm-7:00am; overtime on Fridays).

Qualifications

• Machine operation experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and good hand skills required.
• Ability to read and follow basic written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Blueprint reading experience is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well in a team environment.
• Must be able to train for two days on 1st shift.
• Must have steel toe boots or shoes
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Operate metalworking equipment, including presses, punch presses, trim presses, brake presses, riveters, grinders, and mold presses.
• Use hand tools to drill, grind, cut, assemble, and process products to specifications.
• Produce quality products safely and efficiently while meeting production standards.
• Perform routine quality checks and promptly report quality, safety, and production issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Accurately record and report daily production.
• Work effectively as part of a team and participate in required training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Production operator positions available in the molding department at our client who is an established manufacturer. Positions available on all three shifts in Brighton, Michigan. These are potential temporary to hire positions.
