Job summary

Grand Traverse Container, based in Grand Rapids, is seeking a Material Handler (Hi-lo operator) on 2nd shift to support our production lines.

You will operate forklifts, load and move materials, supply production with inventory, process paperwork, and read work orders from onboard computer. Competitive hourly wage and comprehensive benefits offered.

We are looking for a Material Handler (Hi-lo operator) for 2nd shift at our Grand Rapids location. The ideal candidate must be able to:

• Operate a forklift or other equipment to load or move materials.
• Supply production area with needed materials from inventory.
• Load or unload material onto or from trailers, pallets, trays, or shelves.
• Process required paperwork.
• Read work orders via onboard computer, follow oral instructions to ascertain materials and product to be moved.
