Job Description

We are hiring on 1st shift starting at $20.60 per hour!

Key Accountabilities:

• Must be certified in the material handler position.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Pull, inspect, and verify product before processing.
• Properly and safely set up equipment to run material according to specifications.
• Process setup notes according to work order specifications.
• Verify that product meets setup note specifications per written instructions and record measurements (sampling plan).
• Communicate with sales representatives regarding order changes/clarifications.
• Perform equipment preventive maintenance and general clean-up.
• Properly enter/delete material identification tags as instructed.
• Assist in packaging material per work instructions and work order.
• Maintain measurement equipment in working condition.
• Operate weighing scales and record inspection measurements.
• Identify, record, and segregate scrap and non-conforming material.
• Provide feedback on machine efficiency and product quality.
• Complete responsibilities safely to avoid hazards.
• Train others when required.
• Assist with lean and quality activities.
• This role involves working directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
• Meet TKMNA employee attributes and competencies.
