Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking an entry level Machine Operator in Fairfield, IA. This 1st shift role runs from 12:00am to 9:00am (Sun-Thurs) and pays $17.00–$19.20 per hour.

Responsibilities include operating equipment to cut, trim, and assemble plastic parts, installing components per instructions, and maintaining quality control and a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs non-repetitively and 10–20 lbs repetitively.
• Stand for extended periods and work in extreme heat.
• Able to perform basic mathematics.
• Able to read, understand, and follow work instructions and directions.
• Fluency in English to read policies, procedures, and communicate effectively.

• Install components according to work instructions using various equipment.
• Trim excess material off parts using a knife.
• Verify all required components are installed on parts prior to packaging.

• Perform minor adjustments on blow molding equipment.
