Staffmark Group is seeking a Machine Operator in Dayton, OH to operate manufacturing equipment, monitor product quality, and help achieve production goals in a safety-focused environment.

The role requires prior machine operation experience, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail, with a pay rate of $18.50–$22.00 per hour and a Sunday-Thursday night shift. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 5 years of machine operating experience and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machinery.

Education Requirements

Experience Requirements

• 5 years of previous machine operating experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures is a plus
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and dependable work history
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Machine Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
