Job summary

Halma plc is seeking a motivated CNC Machinist for 2nd shift to interpret engineering drawings, setup and operate multiple CNC machines, and perform routine preventive maintenance to keep production flowing. You will tackle quality defects, participate in on-site training, and collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining safety standards.

Attention to detail and a proactive approach to troubleshooting are essential as you contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience operating CNC machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot CNC equipment and processes.
• Work with multiple CNC machines.
• Identify defects in quality or equipment.
• Participate in safety and training courses.

2nd SHIFT ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interpret engineering drawings to manufacture parts using CNC machinery.
• Demonstrate ability to process work orders independently or with minimal instructions.
• Work with multiple CNC machines.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Identify quality, process, machinery, or equipment defects.
• Implement continual training for teammates (temps and permanent).
• Participate in company training courses, safety and project onsite.
• Troubleshoot equipment when there is a problem.
• Other tasks/duties assigned by manager.
