This position is based in Columbus, MS.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete the setup and operation of the cell equipment machine independently.
• Verify that all previous packing materials and products are removed from the process room before changing over to new product or packing materials.
• Independently start the machine and run high-quality product to specifications.
• Make routine adjustments to equipment in the cell independently.
• Ensure quality requirements are met during equipment operation.
• Locate information for running specific products independently.
• Track and log downtime exceeding 15 minutes using data collection sheets/logs independently.
• Perform routine mechanical repairs and troubleshoot breakdowns.
• Maintain plant standards and conditions.
• Follow all OSHA safety practices.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices as set in KPFG GMP.

Education, Experience & Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing, active listening, and instruction comprehension.
• Leadership and training abilities.
• Quick troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow blueprints and manuals accurately.
• Strong mechanical skills, including using tools for repairs.
• Attention to detail for identifying maintenance, product, or operational issues.
• Ability to stand, sit, or perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
