This position is based in Columbus, MS.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete the setup and operation of the cell equipment machine independently.
• Ensure all previous packing materials and products are removed from the process room before changing over to new product or packing materials.
• Independently start the machine and produce quality products according to specifications.
• Make routine adjustments to equipment in the cell independently.
• Maintain knowledge of quality requirements during equipment operation.
• Locate information necessary for running specific products independently.
• Track and log downtime exceeding 15 minutes using data collection sheets/logs independently.
• Perform repairs and correct routine mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain plant standards and conditions.
• Follow all OSHA safety practices.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as set in KPFG GMP.

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing, active listening, and instruction following.
• Strong leadership and training skills.
• Quick troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and manuals.
• Excellent mechanical skills and comfort with using tools for simple repairs.
• Attention to detail to identify maintenance, product, or operational issues.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, or perform other demanding positions for extended periods.
