Job description

Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is recruiting for Machine Operators in the Broome County area for a growing manufacturing company! We are seeking candidates with solid manufacturing and/or machine operating backgrounds. These are 1st shift, contract-to-hire positions with a growing company in the area.

Responsibilities:

1. Set up assigned stations on the line including operating basic equipment and inspection.
2. Operate and monitor the output of machinery.
3. Pull pieces to inspect for quality and document reports for management.
4. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and written instructions for work orders to ensure the product meets tolerances and product specifications.
5. Use hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment to assemble and secure units.

Qualifications:

1. Must possess good hand-eye coordination and identify a variety of colors and shapes.
2. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
3. At least 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing-related position.
