Position: Senior Program Manager

Location: Remote Position (Los Angeles, CA or Denver, CO). Lead the Carbice product definition and execution in the aerospace and defense markets.

Responsibilities

We are focused on executing our strategic initiatives and delivering high quality materials to our customers while optimizing, improving, and characterizing our existing processes for future growth. We are looking for a Production Technician to manufacture Carbice products using the company’s defined processes and procedures. This role will have visibility to several areas of the business including Engineering and Sales. The Production Technician will report directly to the Manager of Production or the Director of Operations. Assigned tasks will include (but are not limited to):

• Executing existing manufacturing processes in a repeatable, reliable manner.
• Cutting samples, operating a furnace with computer interface, manual polymer coating in a fume hood, maintaining high quality assurance, maintaining documentation, packaging, and shipping.
• Expanding responsibilities over time as training progresses.
• Performing other manufacturing tasks as assigned and trained.
• Documenting and communicating status and results as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in a manufacturing/production environment with an 8-hour shift within a 6:00 am to 11:00 pm work window, including some overtime/weekends when required.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles such as Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and Standardized Work.
• Comfortable with a computer and operation of simple software (i.e., MS Office Suite, basic CAD, executing LabView commands).
• Knowledge of vacuum and/or semiconductor processing systems, PLC controlled equipment, test equipment, electrical, or pipefitting skills.
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Ability to travel throughout the facility as required.
