Experienced and junior operators with interests in mechanical, manufacturing or engineering, looking to build their knowledge need to apply for this one!

THE ROLE:

• Set up and operate CNC machinery, loading parts, running established programmes and monitoring production to ensure safe and accurate output.
• Operate and support a range of manufacturing equipment, including vertical mills, large-scale 3D printers, vacuum forming, plate bending and sanding machinery.
• Work alongside the Production Manager and wider team, developing technical skills through hands-on training and progressing towards independent machine setup and batch production.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment while following established programmes and processes.

THE PERSON:

• Previous experience operating machinery in a machine shop, manufacturing or similar hands-on environment; CNC/milling experience would be beneficial.
• Experience with 3D printing or 3D modelling is highly desirable, alongside strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning new technologies.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability and work ethic, with the ability to follow established processes accurately.
• Proactive and keen to develop technically; CAD/Fusion 360 experience would be advantageous but is not essential, with training available for the right candidate.
