Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Machine Operator for our Cerritos, CA manufacturing facility. The role focuses on setup, operation, and monitoring of corrugated packaging production equipment, ensuring quality, safety, and accurate records on the line.

Shifts include 1st 6am-2:30pm and 2nd 2:30pm-11pm. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, prior manufacturing experience, and the ability to read production documents while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret production documents, measurements, blueprints, or schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machinery according to work instructions and specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Identify and report equipment issues, defective materials, or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate production and inventory records.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform routine machine checks and basic preventative maintenance tasks.
• Support additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Details

The Machine Operator is esponsible for the setup, operation, and monitoring of production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures products are manufactured to quality standards while maintaining safety, efficiency, and accurate production records.

1st shift 6am-230pm

2nd shift 230pm-11pm

Key Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift heavier materials with assistance.
• Ability to work around moving machinery and manufacturing equipment.
