Join Our Team as a Machine Operator at AmesburyTruth

AmesburyTruth is seeking an Extrusion Machine Operator to join our team in Cannon Falls, MN. This role involves performing changeovers, packing parts, and conducting quality checks.

Qualifications: A successful candidate should have a good attendance record, be able to lift 50 lbs, and possess the ability to read and understand blueprints and job packages.

Shifts Available:

• 2nd Shift: 2:40 pm - 11:00 pm, Monday-Friday
• 3rd Shift: 10:40 pm - 7:00 am, Monday-Friday

Compensation: Starting at up to $27.00/hour, which includes a $21.00 base rate plus shift differentials ($2.50 for 2nd shift and $3.00 for 3rd shift), plus a $3 perfect attendance premium. We are also offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

Position Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety procedures and use safety equipment at all times.
• Participate actively in the cell structure.
• Read and understand blueprints and job packages.
• Complete paperwork accurately and neatly.
• Perform quality checks on profiles and lengths.
• Handle changeovers and adjustments to maintain quality.
• Update recipe cards and record changes.
• Ensure tools are accounted for and stored properly.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment and assist others as needed.
• Take direction from the Team Lead and communicate effectively.
• Train and support seasonal staff.
• Perform TPM as scheduled and maintain cleanliness and safety.

This is an entry-level, full-time position in the manufacturing industry, specifically in wholesale building materials.
