Job summary

Lennox is seeking a maintenance technician in Georgia to perform preventative maintenance and simple repairs on manufacturing machines and mechanical equipment. You will diagnose issues by inspecting drives, motors, belts, and using blueprints and manuals, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of related experience, with optional technical diploma.

• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Must be able move items weighing up to 50 lbs.

What Drives Success

• Under general supervision, perform general preventative maintenance and simple repairs on manufacturing machines and mechanical equipment.


• Performs maintenance service and repairs. Repairs or replaces defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment. Diagnoses mechanical problems and determines how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary. Inspects drives, motors, and belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, or performs other maintenance actions, following checklists. Inspects, operates, and tests machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.

Compensation

This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $30.45-32.15/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
