Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform basic mechanical adjustments.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to accurately complete production and quality documentation.
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Previous experience OR education with mechanical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily production records and quality control records for all lines.
• Control and adjust machine settings.
• Respond to machine alarms and identify root causes.
• Troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on blow mold and support equipment.
• Perform daily setup and bottle size changeovers on all equipment.
• Retrieve PLC programming information, evaluate, and adjust as needed.
• Make adjustments to meet product specifications (weight, color distribution, cycle times).
• Coordinate process operations to ensure efficiency and communicate with production personnel.
• Adhere to quality standards and keep logs/postings up to date.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

• Responsible for required adjustments needed to fulfill the product specification requirements such as weight, color distribution, and cycle times.

• Ensures adherence to quality standards
• Must be able to keep up to date on process alterations and general procedures by reading logs, special procedures and posted notices
