Job summary

CKS Packaging, Inc. is seeking skilled Blow Molding Machine Operators for our Kansas City, MO facility. The role involves adjusting machine settings, ensuring product quality, and recording daily production data on all assigned lines.

Positions operate across three shifts, with potential overtime on Saturdays. We offer competitive pay based on experience, paid time off, medical/dental/vision benefits, and a 401k with company matching after completion of the first 30 days of service.

Responsibilities

• Adjust weight, color distribution, and cycle times to meet spec.
• Retrieve PLC programming information and implement adjustments.
• Control and adjust blow mold machinery.
• Maintain production and quality records for lines assigned.
• Respond to machine alarms and identify root causes.
• Coordinate operations for efficiency and communicate with staff.
• Read logs and notices to stay updated on procedures.
• Maintain a clean work area and perform preventive maintenance.
• Set up daily and changeovers for bottle sizes.

Blow Molding Machine Operators Needed- Kansas City, MO

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for required adjustments needed to fulfill the product specification requirements such as weight, color distribution, and cycle times.
• Retrieves PLC programming information, evaluate, and makes adjustments
• Control and adjust machine settings
• Ensures adherence to quality standards
• Will be responsible for daily production records and quality control records for any and all lines assigned to operate
• Answer machine alarms as they occur and address the root cause.
• Coordinate process operations to ensure efficiency, including, communicate with production personnel
• Must be able to keep up to date on process alterations and general procedures by reading logs, special procedures and posted notices
• Responsible for housekeeping & maintaining a clean work area
• Troubleshoot, preventative maintenance and minor repair on blow mold and support equipment
• Perform daily set up and bottle size changeovers on all equipment

• Experienced Extrusion Molding Machine Operators
• Experienced Blow Mold Operators (including PET or HDPE resin, Bekum, Fisher, Uniloy, Aoki, Sidel, 1Blo, and/or Rocheleau machinery) is a plus, but not required
• Machine Operator Trainees (mechanical experience such as HVAC, auto mechanic, car mechanic, lube technician, home repair, handyman, construction trades are all encouraged to apply)

1st: Monday through Friday (some Saturday's), 7:00am-3:00pm
2nd: Monday through Friday (some Saturday's), 3:00pm-11:00pm
3rd: Monday through Friday (some Saturday's), 11:00pm-7:00pm
