Georgia-Pacific is hiring an experienced Machine Operator to join our Corrugated facility in Asheboro, NC.

Your Job

Perform functions to operate the line with minimal supervision while maintaining safety, quality, productivity, and waste standards.

Perform minor mechanical repairs, troubleshoot equipment, and optimize production.

Adhere to safety protocols, promote safety involvement, and ensure a safe working environment.

Look for improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency within quality standards.

Communicate effectively, understand key metrics, operate equipment to standards, and monitor data entry.

Collaborate with team members for smooth operations, perform basic asset care, prep orders, and assist in setup and monitoring of machinery.

Provide training and support to team members.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Machine Operator experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Experience in the corrugated or similar packaging industry.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Die Cut, EVOL, or Flexo Folder Gluer.
• Leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.

Additional Information

Candidates must be available for any shift, including weekends; initial orientation on 1st shift.
