MACHINE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - LEVEL III

Dynomax, a family-owned company, designs, manufactures, and develops high-precision machined components, injection molding and tooling, sub-assemblies, automated work cells, specialty machines, and machine tool spindles since 1986. We are expanding and are seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join our 1st shift Maintenance team.

Job Responsibilities:

The Machine Maintenance Technician will help us maintain our state-of-the-art equipment.

1. Installation, service, and repairs of CNC Machines and industrial equipment, electric motors, and other related equipment.
2. Perform scheduled maintenance on production equipment.
3. Assist in the creation, verification, and implementation of SOPs.
4. Move and replace machinery using forklifts and dollies, contingent upon proper certifications.
5. Diagnose and identify faulty electrical and mechanical components.
6. Work at the component level, including spindles, bearing packs, ballscrews, lubrication systems, and proper alignment.
7. Use gauges and test instruments to diagnose malfunctions, and hand and power tools for disassembly, repair, and reassembly.
8. Fabricate, assemble, and test mechanical system parts using hand tools and power tools.
9. Replace electrical components such as fuses, light bulbs, circuit breakers, and switches following electrical specifications.

Job Requirements:

This key position is ideal for a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician with strong technical skills and excellent communication skills.

1. 6 or more years of CNC maintenance experience.
2. Proficiency in the use and navigation of CNC machine controls.
3. Proficiency in advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics of CNC controls and components.
4. Proficiency in creating SOPs.
5. Knowledge of mechanical and controls calibration standards and methods.
6. Proficiency with hand tools and reading precision measuring tools.
