Job description

Join to apply for the Machine Maintenance Technician Daylight role at George DeLallo Company.

DeLallo is seeking skilled and experienced candidates for our FIRST SHIFT Maintenance Technician position at our Olive Production facility in New Stanton, PA. The primary role of this position is to reduce equipment downtime through preventative maintenance and timely repairs.

The work takes place in a facility that produces food products containing nuts and cheeses.

Required Skills

• Must have industrial equipment repair experience.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Able to read schematics and troubleshoot various systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of control wiring and PLCs.

Deliverables

• Experience working on industrial systems such as compressors, dryers, vacuum generators, liquid systems, pumps, piping, flow control, motors, VFDs, stepper drives, temperature controls, chillers, and conveyors.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and other production machines.
• Read and follow operations manuals, diagrams, sketches, and engineering specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.
• Adjust mechanical, electrical, and control systems to optimize processes.
• Inform production team of scheduled maintenance.
• Monitor equipment for proper operation.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in electrical/control wiring, mechanical, pneumatics, liquid systems, hydraulics, welding/fabrication, and cutting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and certifications.
