Job summary

Toyoda Automotive Inc in Arlington Heights, IL, is seeking a Machine Maintenance Associate to install, repair, and rebuild machine tools and automation equipment. You will support engineering and field teams by resolving mechanical and technical issues, monitoring quality, and assisting with installations and trade shows.

The role requires 1–3 years of maintenance experience, knowledge of CNC/PLC programming, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in maintenance or machine repair.
• Working knowledge of close-tolerance machining, metrology, CNC and PLC programming.
• Experience repairing or fabricating mechanical assemblies and servicing CNC equipment.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Machine Maintenance Associate installs, repairs, rebuilds, and troubleshoots machine tools and automation equipment. This role supports engineering and field teams by resolving mechanical and technical issues, monitoring product quality, and assisting with installations and trade shows.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and rebuild machine tools, systems, and automation equipment.


• Identify and resolve/repair any functional issues that occur with machines used for demonstration


• Analyze findings to determine the source of mechanical and/or technical issues with the full product line


• Coordinate repairs, replacements, and other corrective actions.


• Support field installations, technical requests, and trade show preparation.


• Perform other manufacturing and special-event duties as assigned.


• Travel up to 10%

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• 1-3 years of experience applying electrical and mechanical knowledge in a maintenance or machine repair environment.


• Working knowledge of close-tolerance machining, metrology, CNC and PLC programming, and field-installation documentation.


• Experience repairing or fabricating mechanical assemblies and servicing CNC equipment.


• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in industrial maintenance and repair, engineering, or a related discipline.


• Experience with metal cutting CNC machine installation
