Job summary

LITTLE TREES in DeWitt, IA is seeking a Mechanic to maintain, assemble, install and troubleshoot manufacturing machinery. This role focuses on preventive maintenance and quick problem-solving to keep production lines running smoothly.

Daily duties include fitting parts, clearing jams, and operating welding, cutting and brazing tools. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to work with a team in a clean, temperature-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for 10 hours.

Job description

Hours:

Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Overtime may be required based on demand.

Salary:

$22.25 per hour, increasing to $23.75 within 6 months.

Summary:

The Mechanic is responsible for performing various tasks which include maintaining, adjusting, assembling, installing, dismantling, troubleshooting, repairing manufacturing machinery and performing preventive maintenance as needed.
