Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a manufacturing associate to operate packaging lines, assemble and label finished goods, and ensure quality through reading orders and spec sheets. The role requires bending, stooping, and climbing as part of daily duties and may involve multiple machines based on line speed.

You will contribute to a safe, efficient plant with a focus on quality product output and housekeeping, while complying with Amcor's values and policies.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and packages finished goods with correct labels and packaging.
• Verifies pallet patterns and ensures proper box formation.
• Maintains clean work area per housekeeping standards.
• May perform housekeeping tasks across the plant as needed.

Job DescriptionMust follow all Company policies regarding safety, quality and attendance.Able to performs job duties in a safe manner and report all observed safety hazards to the Section Operator.Must ensures a quality product through regular quality checks by reading and verifying line orders and spec sheets.Reports any out of spec products as needed to ensure a quality product is been produced. .Properly packages finished goods to include correct use of labels, chips, sleeves, twist ties, pallet patterns and code stamps.Responsible for verifying and executing pallet patterns.Maintains clean work area; meet plant and department housekeeping standards. May be assigned additional housekeeping responsibilities throughout the plant as needed.May be assigned to multiple winders, bag machines, etc., based on bag count and line speed, as deemed necessary by management.Must be able to constantly bend, stoop, and climb to perform regular duties of the job.Able to operate multiple production lines as needed.Responsible for making boxes and packaging bags.Our ExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
