Siemens Healthineers invites you to join as a Machine Design Intern, where you will explore hardware design from concept through Design V&V in a global, diverse environment.

You will create 2D/3D design files using SolidWorks, develop prototypes for manufacturability, and support engineering day-to-day tasks while learning from Engagement Teams.

Applicants should be enrolled in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics with a preferred 3.0 GPA and a strong interest in health tech hardware.

Qualifications

• SolidWorks, PDM, FEA, Kinematics, 3D Printing, Mechanical system troubleshooting.
• Currently enrolled in an Engineering degree program, majoring in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Understand Medical product design lifecycle from concept to Design V&V.
• Assist with creating 2D, 3D design files using SolidWorks.
• Develop prototypes to ensure Design for manufacturability aspects.
• Support Engagement Teams in Issue management and resolution.
• Provide assistance with engineering day to day tasks.
