Job summary

Cintal, Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer to validate and test machine control systems, collect performance data, and troubleshoot CAN and Ethernet networks.

This role supports software flashing, calibration, and system integration across field and lab environments. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a related engineering field and 1+ years of experience in controls, validation, or testing, with exposure to heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering field.
• 1+ years of experience in Controls Engineering, Validation, or Testing.
• Experience with machine controls, CAN communication, and Ethernet networks.
• Familiarity with software flashing, calibration, and system integration.
• Experience with data collection, troubleshooting, and validation testing.
• Exposure to heavy equipment, automotive, or off-highway machines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine controls validation and testing.
• Collect, analyze, and report machine performance data.
• Troubleshoot control systems, CAN, and Ethernet communication issues.
• Support software flashing, calibration, and system integration activities.
• Conduct field testing on heavy/off-highway equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve machine performance.
