Job summary

Murphy Tractor is seeking a Precision Inventory Specialist in Columbus, OH to manage incoming precision technology inventory, verify order accuracy, and prepare install kits for branch locations across our footprint.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft 365 and inventory software, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. You will assemble components, label items, and coordinate with drivers to ship kits efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in a technology-related field is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); experience with inventory or order tracking software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine the correct software for machine control applications and install them on various components.
• Utilize Microsoft 365 tools to track the status of install orders and stocking orders of install kits.
• Receive and sort incoming packages from vendors.
• Verify accuracy of received items against purchase orders and supporting documentation.
• Complete required paperwork for inventory management and branch-to-branch transfers.
• Label items accurately for identification and tracking purposes.
• Assemble components into install kits according to specified criteria and job requirements.
• Use internal accounting software to receive parts from other branch locations.
• Ensure all items are properly segmented, stored, and accounted for in the warehouse.
• Coordinate with internal route delivery drivers to ship kits to branch locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks and duties as assigned.
