Job summary

Amcor Lebanon Plant in Lebanon, PA is hiring a Printing Press Assistant to support high-quality packaging production. You will prepare inks, substrates, plates and gears, assist the press operator to monitor product quality, and perform make-readies while maintaining safety and adherence to 5S standards.

The role requires basic computer skills for operator software, ability to read specifications, and forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability read, understand, and follow customer specifications.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills to complete tasks in operator software.
• Visual acuity to perform visual inspection and color discrimination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare inks, substrates, plates, cylinders, gears for scheduled job.
• Assist Press Operator in monitoring the product to ensure quality.
• Perform make-readies.
• Order, charge, and return raw materials to each job as needed.
• Complete necessary daily paperwork.
• Complete 5S/housekeeping logs.
• Follow company policies and procedures as outlined.
• Remove and identify all scrap before master rolls move to WIP area.
