Job summary

Amcor is seeking dedicated individuals for a warehouse/logistics role. You will adhere to safety rules, keep the palletizing area 5S, and operate forklifts and related equipment safely in a high-traffic environment.

You will support production by transferring products and completing finish-wrap tasks while maintaining accurate inventories. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation and safety procedures required.
• Ability to work in high-traffic, low-clearance areas safely.
• Proficient handling of orders, documentation, and system workflows.
• Experience with JDE and DC Link preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety rules and maintain a clean palletizing area (5S).
• Operate sit-down/stand-up forklift and clamp truck safely.
• Maintain inventory accuracy for staging, raw materials, and racks.
• Assist in moving product to production and finish wrap goods from print room.
• Report unsafe conditions and ensure equipment like stretch wrappers operate correctly.
• Follow LOTO procedures and complete work orders in DC systems.

Job DescriptionRESPONSIBILITIESAdhere to all safety rules of Amcor and the Logistics team.Ensure palletizing area is 5S and maintained daily.Understand that professional conduct is expected at all timesReport and correct any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditionsEnsure that the Automated Stretch Wrappers remains working efficiently and in proper working capacity.Ability to operate sit down, stand up and clamp truck forklift equipment properly and safelyContinuously monitor and maintain system dunnage levels (slip sheets, wrapper film, empty pallets, etc.).Assist in getting product to production area(s) for injection printing (P00).Finish print room processes by wrapping finish goods, and performing a work order completion on product coming directly out of print room. AUTHORITIESUnderstand and apply LOTO when required.Ensure that inventory for Post OP Staging & Post OP Area, and Raw Material Racks are maintained at 100% accuracy.Read and understand work order completion processes and all functions of DC Link.Processing scrap in Script 26 as related to printing production.QUALIFICATIONSStrong organizational and computer skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to climb on and off a forklift safely and without assistance at a minimum of 6 times per hour.Stereoptic vision of 20/40 or better and peripheral vision or 70 degrees or greater.Ability to operate a forklift safely in high traffic, low clearance areas while not posing a safety risk to others.Must not be at risk of sudden alterations in consciousness.Hearing sufficient to recognize and respond to shouted warnings, alarms, and horns on fork lifts.Minimum ability to lift 35 pounds at least 60 times per hour.Ability to stand and walk for a minimum of 7 hours during an 8-hour shift or 10+ hours during a 12-hour shift.Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a time efficient manner with minimum supervision.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.Prior JDE and DC Link experience preferred.Must be forklift certified by Amcor.Our ExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
