We're looking for a Machine Assembly Technician I who brings mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a passion for building and repairing equipment.

In this hands-on position, you'll help assemble specialized gaming equipment, including pull-tab vending machines, AccuCounters, and custom wire harnesses. From assembling mechanical components and connecting electrical systems to testing finished machines, you'll play an important role in producing reliable equipment for our charitable and lottery gaming customers.

If you have experience with mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, soldering, or troubleshooting equipment and enjoy solving problems, this could be a great opportunity to put your technical skills to work!

What You'll Do

As a Machine Assembly Technician I, you'll assemble, wire, inspect, and test specialized gaming equipment while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities Include:
  • Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, fasteners, and detailed assembly instructions.
  • Build and integrate complete pull-tab vending machines and AccuCounters, ensuring mechanical and electrical components are properly installed and aligned.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation to complete assembly work accurately.
  • Construct and install custom wire harnesses, including cutting, stripping, bundling, soldering, and connecting electrical wires and terminals.
  • Perform visual inspections, functional testing, and sample vending tests to verify finished equipment operates correctly.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, identify potential causes, and perform necessary adjustments, repairs, or rework.
  • Inspect assembled components for accuracy, proper fit, functionality, and compliance with quality specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation while following established 5S and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Work closely with production leadership, engineering, and quality teams to resolve assembly concerns and meet production schedules.
  • Assist with training and providing hands‑on guidance to less experienced employees when needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve assembly methods, reduce errors, and support continuous improvement.
  • Other duties as required.
What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate Degree in Electronics, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, wiring schematics, and assembly instructions.
  • Experience with electrical wiring, wire harness assembly, soldering, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical assembly problems and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail when assembling components, inspecting equipment, and performing functional testing.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new production or technical software.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to assist and guide other employees as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive assembly tasks requiring manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination.
  • Flexibility to work additional or irregular hours based on production needs.
  • Ability to work well in a diverse environment.
Additional Requirements:
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide documentation establishing identity and employment eligibility as required by federal law.
