Job summary

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to read job tickets, and basic math and computer skills. You will collaborate with press operators and other teams to meet daily goals and ensure a safe, clean work area.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience operating cutting equipment or similar manufacturing machinery preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Ability to read and interpret production instructions, job tickets and specifications.
• Strong math, measurement and computer skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor guillotine cutting machines according to production specifications.
• Read and interpret job tickets, production orders and packaging instructions.
• Perform quality inspections to verify dimensions, alignment, print quality and finished product accuracy.
• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
• Accurately enter production data and maintain manufacturing records.
• Work closely with press operators, production staff and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with company quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, material handling and other finishing operations as needed.
• Support continuous production by minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.

What You'll Do
