Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Michigan is seeking a Production Worker to ensure materials on the plant floor meet quality and processing standards. You will troubleshoot issues and follow process standards to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 3 years in Materials Processing and 3 years in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must be able to lift 40 lbs, stand 8 hours, and work 40 hours per week with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years' experience in Materials Processing.
• At least 3 years working in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills and willing to support all shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to stand 8 hours a day.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials and blends are processed at standard
• Ensure cycle time and part standards are met
• Ensure scrap goals are met
• Establish primary processes to maximize quality, part and labor requirements
• Adjust processes to ensure machines are running efficiently
• Maintain process books / ensure all process changes are recorded
• Ensure that the process supports minimal flash
• Write necessary maintenance work orders
• Drive cycle time & Wt. reduction program
