Job description

Member of the orthopedic team responsible for providing patient care. Duties include but are not limited to rooming patients, patient screening, patient procedures, implementing treatment plans, and follow-up care. Performs associated clerical tasks including chart preparation, stocking clinic supplies, and answering phones. Provides assistance with clinic daily operations and flow.

This position may also work at the Seattle and Bellevue locations.

Ortho Technologist/Medical Assistant
Required Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Required Credentials
  • Certified Orthopedic Technologist by the accrediting body NAOT or Registered Orthopedic Technologist by the accrediting body ASOP.
  • Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS).
  • Current Medical Assistant - Certified or Interim Certification by Washington Department of Health (DOH) prior to start date.
Ortho Technician/Medical Assistant
Required Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Required Credentials
  • Must be eligible to sit for the Certified Orthopedic Technologist exam as administered by the NAOT or Registered Orthopedic Technologist examination as administered by ASOP and must successfully complete certification exam within 12 months of hire date.
  • Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS).
  • Current Medical Assistant - Certified or Interim Certification by Washington Department of Health (DOH) prior to start date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • One year Orthopedic experience.
  • Medical Assistant experience in Pediatrics, Urgent Care, and/or Medical screening and immunization.
  • Current National Medical Assistant Association Certification.
  • Medical Assistant or medical office experience.
Compensation Range

$33.30 - $48.68 per hour

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
