Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Sumner, WA is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join a Physician/APP office team. The MA-C will work under a licensed practitioner, perform clinical tasks, and communicate with patients and care teams.

Position offers a 0.9 FTE with a Day shift and Monday–Friday schedule. A $5,000 sign-on bonus with a 24-month commitment is available for the right candidate who has at least one year of healthcare experience and MA-C certification.

Qualifications

• Must hold Washington MA-C certification.
• Minimum of one year experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills patient care responsibilities, including organizing patient flow, interviewing patients, obtaining vital signs, and assisting with exams and procedures.
• Administers medications in compliance with Washington State regulations and communicates with patients and families.
