Job summary

Medix is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) for a full-time, contract-to-hire role at an on-site community health clinic in the Seattle area (Seattle, Lynnwood, or Everett). This position partners directly with a healthcare provider to manage patient flow and support clinical tasks.

Responsibilities include patient intake, venipuncture, injections, administering medications, vital signs, and EPIC EHR documentation; bilingual candidates (Spanish or Russian) preferred.

Qualifications

• Active MA-C credentials through the Washington State DOH.
• Excellent customer service, professional demeanor, strong multi-tasking, and coachability.

Responsibilities

• Room and exit patients efficiently to support high-volume care.
• Perform venipuncture, injections, and administer oral medications under physician orders.
• Immunizations in compliance with state and clinic standards.
• Obtain vital signs and document in the EPIC EHR system.
• Assist providers with charting and EPIC inbaskets, ensuring clear communication for coordinated patient care.
• Complete provider referrals for assigned patients in a timely manner.
