Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking an experienced M365 Systems Administrator to manage the Microsoft stack, including Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune, with a focus on patch management and change processes in a hybrid setup. The role covers endpoint management, security configurations, and collaboration with IT teams.

You will drive M365 workflow improvements, support M&A migrations, and maintain SOPs/runbooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years minimum experience as a M365 System Administrator or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Knowledge of major Microsoft cloud-based systems including Entra ID, M365, InTune, AutoPilot, Enterprise Mobility + Security, Defender ATP, etc.
• Powershell scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with ITIL-based change management processes, including CAB submissions, risk assessments, and rollback planning.
• Experience with Freshservice for incident, change, and request management.
• Experience supporting M&A or tenant migration projects in a Microsoft 365 environment is a plus.
• Customer escalation and conflict resolution skills required.
• Resource planning and mitigation management.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Entra ID and M365 tenant tasks including user provisioning and mailboxes.
• Collaborate with cloud/network teams to ensure smooth end-user compute operations.
• Handle 3rd party app installation and endpoint patching.
• Create technical implementation documents and runbooks for operations.
• Develop end-user documentation and FAQs.
• Monitor for outages and trends in Microsoft stack performance.
• Support change management with CAB risk assessments and rollback plans.
• Lead enterprise endpoint patch management via Autopatch and Intune policies.
• Coordinate with Cybersecurity on vulnerability prioritization and remediation.
• Maintain patch dashboards for leadership and audit readiness.
• Assist with M&A tenant migrations and policy alignment for acquired entities.
• Develop SOPs for Windows feature updates and patch cycles.
