Job summary

PRI Technology is seeking an Exchange/M365 Engineer for a 6+ month contract in Bethlehem, PA. The role is 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, with a pay rate of $60-$68 per hour.

The engineer will manage Exchange Online, mail flow, and hybrid dependencies while supporting broader M365 operations and security controls. Responsibilities include provisioning mailboxes, configuring transport rules, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 messaging services.
• Experience in hybrid Exchange environments.
• Strong understanding of mail flow, DNS, and email security controls.
• PowerShell or automation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Exchange Online, including mail flow, transport rules, and mailbox provisioning
• Manage hybrid Exchange dependencies and support ongoing coexistence requirements
• Maintain and troubleshoot email security integrations (e.g., transport rules, third-party controls)
• Oversee mailbox lifecycle management, including provisioning, retention, and decommissioning
• Resolve production issues related to messaging services and ensure SLA adherence
• Support general M365 operations, including cross-platform dependencies with Teams, SharePoint, and identity systems
• Document system configurations, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
